So, we now have gaboons of the middle boxes and a few of the bigger ones, but we ran out of book boxes (which are cubes and a manageable weight when full). One "punt" is to fill the middle boxes only halfway with books and then top off with a pillow or some such. But we'll run out of these tomorrow probably.
On the one hand it feels like we've accomplished nothing and things are in great disarray. But there are stacks of boxes on the top and bottom floors now. In the living room, the shelving is off the wall and the stack of boxes has been moved against the wall. This room might start looking a bit organized tomorrow.
As we pack, we're still recycling lots of paper and gathering a boxful of stuff to take to Boemerang, our local second-hand charity shop. I've advertised our washing machine on Freecycle and it's found a new home already. No takers so far for our bed, which won't move with us.
Tomorrow will be the house inspection, where we hope they don't find anything too serious wrong with the house. (This would be a surprise to us.)
Oy, I feel your pain. Moving is no fun, that's for sure. Hang in there!
