Starting 'The Move'

We finally got in touch with the movers and this morning we have a load of book boxes and big boxes to fill. It doesn't really seem like enough, but they should know. On Monday, we'll get a load of medium boxes. Now we'll see how many book boxes we can get packed before then.

And, we changed the date for moving into storage to Monday, 22 September. The next day we'll take a vanload of stuff to France: tools, lots of our shelving so we can get that installed before the rest of our household arrives, a bit more kitchen stuff, some clothes, two months worth of reading, etc. We'll unload all this, clean and set up the household, rest a night, then return here in time for closing, which should be between 30 September through 6 October.
