Almost sold ...

This afternoon we got an offer at the low end of what the real estate agent valued this house at. They say it is the final offer, but our agent suggested that we ignore that and come back just over the high end of the estimated value, hoping to settle on the high end estimate. We're going to call first thing in the morning to accept their low-end offer. We're just pleased to have it sold and one less thing to worry about. We getting about 2.5 times what we paid almost 15 years ago, so we're not going to quibble about it. We're asking to close on 30 September, and it may be possible since the buyers have already started the loan process (ordinarily 6-8 weeks). If they can't make that date, we will probably closed on the second week in October probably.
