In our travels around the area, we've noticed that the local potagers (vegetable gardens) are still active with leeks, cabbages, brussels sprouts, and such still growing. After the extended cold and snow, this seems really surprising to us.
Since it warmed up and the snow melted, plants have decided spring is really here. Everything is budding out and grass is thinking about growing. Our camellias are blooming already.
Ed's covered all the holes in the plasterboard around the windows now. Tedious work. Now these areas are ready to paint.
There are ready-made crêpes and crêpe pans of all sorts on sale everywhere. Did we know that crêpes have a season?
We seem to have another cold spell coming, but more of a normal one, with light freezes and night and just above freezing in the daytime.
