We remembered, but slept too late to go to a ceremony. Naughty us.
The shelves on either side of the kitchen door are full now, not with their future contents, we expect, but at least there are two more boxes unpacked now. We're still debating what color to paint inside these nooks and the bit over the fireplace.
After a couple of weeks of mostly drippy weather, today was gorgeous. After lunch, we walked our empty bottles to the recycle bin in Mazerolles, about 2.5 kilometers away. It's uphill all the way there, but downhill on the way back. We were passed by five cars in the 20+ minutes it took to walk there -- becoming a regular freeway with all that traffic!
Tomorrow it's supposed to rain again.
