Gutters have been installed on the stable roof edges, but they're not adjusted yet, and the cisterns are not yet installed. One hydrangea has been moved to cover the end of the fioul tank and to make room for a cistern.
The terrace doors has been replaced with new double-glazed doors, and the house is covered in dust from the plastering.
The WC is now has Caribe Bleu panelling with white walls above. It's better, but seems too bright somehow. We'll think how to tone it done later.
The kitchen walls have been primed and we really like the sample of the color Mangue -- hooray! Kaye paints another section on this visit (there's not enough paint to finish) and will finish the rest on the next visit. Oops! the area around the window was primed, when we meant for it to remain wood. Sigh. The area where the old kitchen cabinets were has been finished off, except for the molding, and looks much better.
The small east-facing window has been installed in the master bedroom. It looks great and the light is wonderful. The bedroom has been papered and painted Bleu Ciel, a pretty color. The fly plague in the master bedroom was still in force when we arrived, but abates for no apparent reason. Ed installed new flooring, so this room is more or less finished.
Here's a tour of the bedroom, turning clockwise, on the evening we moved in:

In the last picture, yes, that's a pile of dirty clothes under the new window and the Tardis in the corner.
One evening we went to a concert of Ukrainean music in nearby Montemboeuf. The traditional music was fun, but the pop stuff was ho-hum.

Walking again to Ecossas, we discovered that the woods on our side of the Bellone have been clear-cut now.
Ah, dinner on the terrace (with laundry on the line below):
