Further it's been the normal round of things here, grocery shopping, choir practices for Ed, line dancing for Kaye, an anniversary lunch (40th together). We went to a karaoke evening one night; neither of us sang—could you really imagine that?
Ed's Montbron choir had a Remembrance Concert on Saturday evening, music along with readings of old letters, poetry, and flags carried by British and French soldiers. Here's the choir, with Ed's head just right of center in the back.
Here's a bit of the music.
France Météo reports that October was warmer than normal, but also grayer and wetter. Last week during a windy spell there was a little tornado on the ground not too far from us. No injuries, but some damage over a bit 30 meters wide and 2 kilometers long. Rain has continued into November, there are moments of sun surrounding by hours of drippy-drippy. The forecast shows a dry spell of several days coming mid-week. We hope.
