More travel in the works

The last week felt busy without too much to show for it. On Tuesday we had insulation blown in above the bedroom and mezzanine ceilings. If the weather improves, on Wednesday this week we'll have a double-glazed window installed in the bathroom. That makes all our openings double-glazed. There's still some finishing and sealing to do following this work, but that will happen in due course.

Ed finished cutting the iron plates for the interior of the wood stove just in time for the weather to turn cooler, so we're enjoying the fire in the kitchen again. And we got caught up on the washing and ironing from our US trip.

Pogo and Sophie are getting on fairly well, for a dog and a cat. Here's a photo of them napping together under our computer desk while we were both on-line:

Friday evening we went to a curry night at the Moulin de la Chabroulie, an English bar/restaurant/B&B near St Mathieu in the Dordogne. It was a very English event, and the food was quite good.

This Wednesday morning very early, Kaye will be off again for the US, this time for a longer visit to help her mother move to a retirement community. She should be back in mid-December, and there probably won't be much blog action until then. Happy Thanksgiving to our fellow amurricans!
