Visit #6 (27May-9Jun07)

Ed's gotten the news that he's being laid off. The situation is still a bit uncertain, so this visit is not too restful. And the roof is still leaking in spite of further repairs and the Tardis is still not complete. At last the terrace shutters have been paintined, and now the bathroom shutters are off.

There are bats sleeping over the entrance. We love the bats, watching them fly out in the evening return in the morning. But we don't like them over our door. They don't like us disturbing their rest, apparently, and moved elsewhere.

We saw the hoopoe again, and a nightjar flying one evening.
